Prepare for a Tornado
- Pay attention to local weather reports.
- Purchase a NOAA Weather Radio.
- Decide where to go when a tornado warning is issued.
- Look for a dark, often greenish sky, large hail, a large, dark, low-lying cloud (particularly if rotating), and a loud roar, similar to a freight train. If you see or hear of these signs, prepare to take shelter immediately.
